The Glen Tavern
Here, you’ll find a menu with seasonal and contemporary food with a well thought out wine list.
It is one of the more expensive restaurants in Georgetown (or Glen Williams if you want to be specific) but the quality of the food at the Glen Tavern can’t be beat.
OUR TAKE: This is the best restaurant in Georgetown for special occasions. The ambience is amazing and the food is always stellar.
Georgetown Thai might be one of the most beloved restaurants in town.
They serve a variety of delicious and authentic thai food dishes that never dissapoint.
The staff are extremely friendly and make both dining in and taking out a pleasant experience.
OUR TAKE: Any time we can’t figure out what to eat on a weeknight – we usually end up ordering from Georgetown Thai. Our favourite dish is the Cashew Nut Pad Thai with added chicken!
Yoyo Sushi Restaurant
Locals claim that Yoyo Japanese Restaurant (aka Yoyo sushi) competes with even the high class Toronto sushi restaurant scene.
We tend to agree.
The decor and staff at Yoyo make each guest feel like they are eating in a traditional Japanese restaurant. They have fish, meat and vegetarian options to cater to the preference of each guest.
OUR TAKE: Having eaten at many Toronto sushi restaurants, we can definitely say Yoyo sushi is up there with the best of them. We love the spicy tuna crunch roll.
Copper Kettle Pub
The Copper Kettle Pub is a quaint little restaurant that feels like a neighbourhood pub.
They have a lovely outdoor patio for when the weather is good as well an indoor dining room serving high quality upscale pub fare.
Their beer and wine offering features local breweries and wineries and is broad enough to spend an afternoon enjoying the many different options.
OUR TAKE: We love the daily chalkboard which features unique inventions by chef Anthony.
Georgeview Open Kitchen Restaurant
Georgeview is a local legend. It is a classic diner that serves the best “greasy spoon” breakfast in town.
The have an all day breakfast that hits the spot early in the morning or at a late brunch if you were out too late the night before.
Staff at Georgeview are friendly and a few have been there to serve multiple generations of locals.
OUR TAKE: Georgeview is nothing fancy, which is why we absolutely love it.
